Personal Presentation

José Costa holds an MSc in Informatics and Computing Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto since 2024, having earned his BSc in Informatics and Computing Engineering from the same institution in 2022. Since 2023, José is a Researcher at Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS, focusing on management and orchestration of the computing continuum. Some of his other interest areas include Embedded and Distributed Systems. Presently, he is pursuing a PhD in the field of continuum orchestration, researching how the heterogeneous capabilities and requirements of IoT solutions can be holistically managed across Cloud, Edge and Far-Edge domains.
