With a PhD in Digital Media from the prestigious UT Austin|Portugal Program, she specializes in cross-functional problem-solving methodologies that turn diverse teams into engines of real-world impact.

As an innovation consultant, Kira has helped private and public organizations navigate complexity, drive bold initiatives, and accelerate innovation—often through hackathon methodologies that break down silos and spark creative solutions.

At the University of Porto and Porto Business School, she teaches students how to work across disciplines, communicate complex ideas, and develop impactful innovations. Her contributions to EU-funded projects like EUGLOH and CHAMELEONS reflect her commitment to inclusive, participatory learning environments.
