Journalist from 1998 to 2006, Ana Almeida Martins is currently responsible for FEUP’s Corporate Communication and Public Relations, where she as been working since February 2006.

Graduated in Social Communication at the University of Minho with a major in Journalism and a Master in Communication’s Law from the University of Coimbra, Ana Almeida Martins’s first Job was in the newspaper Público and was the executive editor of the magazine Ideias & Negócios magazine, and worked as a freelance journalist in several publications.

More recently, in 2009, Ana Almeida Martins completed a Diploma in Public Communication and Public Marketing at the National Institute of Administration (INA).

As part of her work at FEUP, Ana Almeida Martins has been teaching teachers, technical staff and students in the area of corporate communication and media training.
