Cilísia is graduated as an architect from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) in 2003, with an Erasmus Program at the University of Florence (UNIFI) Italy; with master’s degree in Methodologies of Intervention in Architectural Heritage at FAUP in 2007, with units in Civil Engineering, opening its collaboration with the Institute for Sustainable Construction at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (ICS-FEUP). In 2016, she got the PhD degree in Civil Engineering at FEUP, being fellow in the R&D Unit Centre of Investigation for Territory, Transports and Environment (CITTA), Group 2: Urban Planning and Housing. Since 2017 she is researcher at the Institute of R&D in Structures and Construction (CONSTRUCT), Thematic Line 2: Built Historical Heritage, preservation, natural actions, and climate change. In 2021, the candidate is granted in the CEEC-4th edition Junior Researcher individual call in the panel of Arts, in the field of Cultural Heritage, with the MATCH project: Monitoring and Assessment Tool for Cultural Heritage (MATCH): improving municipalities’ tools and policies with digital systematic and continues analysis of cultural heritage to assist decision-making. MATCH is a strategic methodology, which aims to assess and monitor the Cultural Heritage at the municipal level, supporting inventory procedures to suport the stakeholders decision-making.
