Personal Presentation

Hélio Sousa Mendonça received the Licentiate, MSc and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto, in 1991, 1994 and 2004, respectively. Currently, he is Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of Porto and a researcher at INESC TEC.

He is author or co-author of more than 37 technical papers in the areas of Industrial and Home Automation, Embedded Systems, and Internet of Things (IoT). He supervised or co-supervised 2 PhD and 23 Master thesis.

He has a teaching experience of several courses, covering subjects such as: Computer Architecture, Digital Systems, and Electronics.
