Luís António de Almeida  Vieira, was   graduated  in applied mathematics, next had made  Eductional Aptitude and scientific capacity tests at  Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto in finit elements and  had a phd  degree in Applied Mathematics in 2004 by the Department of Mathematics of University of Aveiro. Since then he  continues to proceed is investigation in the areas of analysis, algebra and combinatorics and pretends  to continue de  pedagogical  books and scientifique books in analysis, algebra and combinatorics
Luís Vieira has published 44 books in english and pedagogical books in portugeses 19 Four of these books were published by quântica and the others by Editorial .

I was corrector of  the assessment tests to Faculty of Engineering on mathematics

I made 25 comunications on international abroad, more from half in foreign countries. 
I made a lot of pedaogical courses  by the center of the continuous formation of Feup.

I have been classified as an excelent teacher since 2016, and i have received a   premium of scientific award
since 2016 given by the director of Feup until 2020.
