Statsitician and Data Scientist.

Specialty: data driven stochastic dynamic models, dynamic data assimilation, simulation, estimation and forecasting, predictive models under uncertainty, data fusion, MSO, queuing systems.

Education: Degree in Applied Mathematics (FCUP); Master in Applied Mathematics (Aix-Marseille I); PhD in Applied Mathematics (Aix-Marseille I, 1990, equivalence FCUP).

Main activities:  Researcher in 4 research projects in Engineering subjects; supervisor of 2 doctoral theses (concluded) and one ongoing; author of more than 50 technical and scientific publications, including 4 single authored journal papers, from which 4 publications in the ``Top 25% most cited documents worldwide'' list and 4 publications in the ``Top 25% journals by CiteScore'' list (Scopus); member of the Superior Statistical Council - Northern Regional Section until 2003; member of the Senior Council of the Civil Engineering Department of FEUP until 2022. Integrated Researcher at CMUP; colaborating with CONSTRUCT. Results of her research are cited in international patent 2012-C75150/WO 2012/025813 Al.

Strongly interdisciplinary training and activity. Examples of applications: urban traffic systems; probabilistic engineering mechanics; cementitius materials, renewable energies, team design for emergency health services
