Current position: Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP); Researcher at the Institute of R&D in Structures and Construction (CONSTRUCT).

Education: PhD in Civil Engineering (2016); MSc in Civil Engineering (2009); Degree in Civil Engineering (2008); All levels of education obtained at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Aveiro.

Main research interests/skills: Geosynthetics; Application of geosynthetics in Civil Engineering structures; Durability of geosynthetics; Characterization of the properties of soils reinforced with geosynthetics; Design and numerical modeling of geosynthetic reinforced soil structures.

Main activities: Postdoctoral Researcher on Research Project “GeoSinergismo - Avaliação de efeitos sinérgicos na degradação de geossintéticos”. Author of 1 book chapter, 8 papers in international scientific journals, and 18 papers in national and international conference proceedings.
