Statsitician.

Specialty: data-driven stochastic dynamic models, dynamic data assimilation, simulation, estimation and forecasting, predictive models under uncertainty, data fusion, MSO, queuing systems.

Education: Degree in Applied Mathematics (FCUP); MSc in Applied Mathematics (Aix-Marseille I); PhD in Applied Mathematics (Aix-Marseille I, 1990, equivalence FCUP); Habilitation in Applied Mathematics (UP, 2024).

Main activities:  Researcher in 4 research projects in Engineering subjects; supervisor of 2 doctoral theses (concluded) and one ongoing; author of more than 50 technical and scientific publications, including 4 single authored journal papers, from which 4 publications in the ``Top 25% most cited documents worldwide'' list and 8 publications in the ``Top 25% journals by CiteScore'' list (Scopus); member of the Superior Statistical Council - Northern Regional Section until 2003; member of the Senior Council of the Civil Engineering Department of FEUP until 2022. Integrated Researcher at CMUP, collaborating with CONSTRUCT. Results of her research are cited in international patents 2012-C75150/WO 2012/025813 Al and 2012-C70277/EP2423265-A1.

Strongly interdisciplinary training and activity. Examples of applications: urban traffic systems; sensor fusion; probabilistic engineering mechanics; cementitious materials (e.g., SCC and UHPC mix optimisation, digital concrete), renewable energies, team design for emergency health services.
