With the changes in the Higher Education decided by the European Union (Bologna process) we can distinguish three degrees: Bachelor (3 years), Master (2 years) and PhD (3 to 4 years). Some Faculties have created courses that combine a Bachelor with a Master, called Integrated Masters (five years).

The offer of continuing education, non-awarding degree, integrated or not in cycles of study, includes programmes of post-graduate level (Specialization and Advanced Studies) and programmes or continuing education units (Open Training Programmes, Continuing Training Units , Programmes of Continuing Education). The ECTS credits conferred by these programmes may be recognized and transferred to graduated cycles of study.
