Objectives

The main objective of this Training Unit (TU) is to provide participants with the knowledge and tools to make well-founded technical decisions regarding the design, calculation, maintenance, rehabilitation/demolition of works in accordance with the premises of the Circular Economy (CE) in construction.

At the end of the TU, participants are expected to be able to:

- Make technical decisions that promote Circular Construction;

- Design in civil engineering with the inclusion of secondary raw materials;

- Learn about new construction and management technologies in accordance with CE principles;

- Be familiar with national and international legislation on CE;

- Implement water efficiency and circularity measures in buildings and urban environments.
