Informatics Engineering Master programme aims at promoting highly qualified professionals and researchers in advanced subjects in Informatics and Computing Science including fundamental theoretical aspects, specification, design, representation, distribution and exploitation of Information System and the integration of information technologies in organizations.
The courses are coordinated in order to achieve competencies that may be characterized according to the roles that may be performed:
The aim of the master programme is to allow to each student the selection of courses that together make competencies in one of these roles. On the other hand, the student may choose any combination of courses in order to achieve a different set of competencies, if approved by the programme director.

In each one of the first two semesters, full time students will enrol in 4 courses.
Qualifications for AdmissionIn order to apply to the "Master of Informatics Engineering" registration, candidates need to have a degree in Computing Science or in a similar area covering the following subjects: Programming, Software Engineering, Operating Systems and Networks and Information Systems and Databases. The minimum classification mark is 14 (14/20).
