First aiders
The first aiders are FEUP employees, with training on First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Automatic External Defibrillation (AED), empowered to provide relief to victims of an accident or sudden illness.

Rescuers have first aid bags fully equipped with all the material necessary to provide first aid support, and have access to a support room where they can assist victims in situations that require a quiet environment and / or with some privacy.
