Objectives
At the end of the training unit the student should be able to:
• Know the different styles of leadership;
• Understand the relationship between different leadership styles and different work team motivational patterns;
• Understand the relationship between different leadership styles and different motivational patterns of work teams;
• Identify different types of conflicts that emerge in work teams;
• Identify the major characteristics of a team, its structure and its dynamics;
• Understanding and applying feedback mechanisms (reinforcement / punishment),

The concept of leadership and its role within the project team;
• Trait Theory vs Developmental theories on the emergence of leaders (personal, educational and contextual factors);
• Different styles of leadership;
• The main characteristics and behaviors of working teams;
• The different motivational patterns of work teams;
• The inevitability of conflict and role in organizational dynamics;
• The different strategies of conflict resolution and the impact of choices made;
• Technical (communication) that allow you to organize, encourage and motivate a team;
• Feedback: the role of praise and criticism in team management;
