Suitable for English-speaking students
Objectives
Introduction of the concept of road security and development of students' skills to identify risk factors in general and in specific cases, and improve its ability to define and propose measures and solutions that reduce the risk of road accidents. Identify key risk factors and study, analyze and propose solutions. Identify situations and perform risk analysis on the ground. Analyze prevention measures, including education and training for road safety and defensive driving.
Learning outcomes and competences
It is expected that in this discipline students acquire a greater sensitivity for the Road accident prevention. This course will warn some successful measures to prevent accidents as well as instruct students for detecting situations potentiate the risk of accidents.

Observations
Teachers responsible for the curricular unit can invite specialists (engineers, traumatologists, psychologists, jurists, etc.) to present part of the subjects. These presentations can be used for the group work and its discussion are also considered within the framework of the subjects of the course unit and may be subject to questions in the exam.
