Objectives

Aims:
To endow students with skills to explore scientific and technical information (STI) resources, in particular to understand their world and to characterize the forms of production, organization and use of such type of information.

Learning outcomes and competences

Learning outcomes:
- to identify and access the sources of STI in accordance with an information need framed in a specific context
- to develop and implement search strategies in various areas of STI
- to analyze the indicators of production and use of STI
