Objectives

The students will be able to understand the importance of enterprise strategies in a competitive globalised world.
It will be analised the importance of the operations function, namely the maintenance function, and its management in the enterprise global strategy. Also, it will be stressed the importance of the Management of Human Resources and of the Management Control tools.

Program

Enterprises strategies:
- The globalisation process and its implications on the enterprises strategies;
- The new models of enterprises organization.
The operations function and the enterprises competitiveness. The implementation and use of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
Strategic Management of Human Resources.
Management Control Tools:
- How to organize a Business Plan;
- The Cost Centers and how to control them;
- The Balanced scorecard for performance evaluation.
