Fundamental studies related with road traffic and safety.

Program

Traffic Engineering. Analysis of traffic volumes and speed distribution. Evaluation of road congestion. Capacity and level of service. Two lanes rural roads. Multilane highways. Roundabouts. Priority interseccions.
Signalized intersections. Coordination of traffic.
Propagation of traffic perturbations. Urban networks. Graph theory.
