Teaching methods and learning activities

Set of seminars (by the Professor and Invited speakers) to introduce the main topics of the Program , complemented by Laboratory visits (Characterization methods, applications), and monographic presentations by the students on assigned topics.
Monograph preparation will be oriented and followed by the Professor.

Evaluation Type

Distributed evaluation without final exam

Assessment Components

Description Type Time (hours) Weight (%) End date
Attendance (estimated) Participação presencial 56,00
Total: - 0,00

Eligibility for exams

Attendance to all seminars, visits and presentations.

Calculation formula of final grade

Final grade (CF):
CF = 0,50 MG + 0,50 ID
where
MG= monograph (team work)
ID= evaluation of the student, according to the participation in the course activities and presentation of assigned work.

Examinations or Special Assignments

Monograph on a specific assigned topic, done in groups of two students, and oral presentation of the assigned topics.
The report must be delivered until the end of December .

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

Not applicable, since the main component of the final grade refers to team work.

Classification improvement

Not applicable, since the main component of the final grade refers to team work.
