Objectives
Application of the fundamental concepts of Fluid Mechanics to the design of hydraulic and air circuits used in Environmental Engineering studies.
To guarantee to the future Environmental Engineering Masters the qualifications needed for the design of those circuits.
Program
Mixture;
Determination of head losses in pipe flows under Pressure;
Turbomachinery (hydraulic machines);
Design of pipes under pressure;
Introduction to the variable flows.
Aeration and circuits of compressed air;
Open-channel flows; Design of open-channels;
Variable flows;
Multiphase flows.
