To sensitize the students for the importance of the increase of the competitiveness of the textile sector giving special evidence to the concern and implementation of techniques that allow to finishing to the first, maintaining high quality patterns and one controls rigorous of involved costs.
To deepen concepts related with the dyeing, printing and finishing technology, in its varied slopes.
Program
1- Introduction of finishing sector in the textile row.
2- Basic concepts about the colour and its importance for the textile processing.
3- Classification of the dyestuff and its relation with the textile fibers.
4- Study of the dyeing processes of celullosic, polyester, polyamide, acrilic, wool fibers and the mixtures of polyester with celullosic.
5- Study of the transformation of textile products half-transformed into finished products, with special emphasis in the processes and the effect that if can get.
6- Relationship between fiber, type of structure and process of Finishing. Boarding of the different suquence and equipment of the process, defining which the parameters that in it would printing and in the finishing operations can influence the final quality of articles
7- Textile finishing its aims and framing of the process of in the textile row.
8- Used finishing processes: - specific finishings (chemical and mechanical) and special finishings
9- Functional finishing
10- Special effects
11- The textile innovation – bio, micro and nanotechnology
12- Environmental problems related to the dyeing process.
Works:
- Exhaust and pad dyeing of cotton, polyester and poliamida and mixtures of polyester/cotton.
- Application of chemical finishing
