Objectives

To write an original thesis specifically for this purpose, having to be adequate to the problematic of occupational safety and hygiene. 

In the dissertation, the student must reach the following objectives:
- To know how to carry out scientific,  technical and legal research in a systematic way integrating the research results;
- Acquire knowledge and skills in a specific area of safety technology;
- Acquire skills to work systematically on an issue;
- Submit an original work, showing the conpetências acquired.

Learning outcomes and competences


  1. The competencies to be achieved by the student are:
    - Domain of methodologies, research scientific and technical information;
    - Ability to integrate knowledge from  scientific, technical and legal sources;
      - Ability to synthesize in an organized way all the work produced;
    - Skills to communicate the work developed, its findings, knowledge and reasoning related to it, clearly and unambiguously.

Program

Choose of a theme by the student within a list of topics proposed by potential supervisors.
Presential classes on the following subjects:
- Research Methodology of information
- Organization and presentation of research work / project;
Presentation by the student of a work plan, approved by the supervisor. This work plan must be approved by the Course Director, after consulting the Scientific Committee.
