Abstract (EN): In this overview the importance of the knowledge of the mechanisms of action of xenobiotics and drugs, their metabolites and their biomarkers are referred as a process of their monitorizations in biological products and in predicting previous exposure. To characterize biological markers paracetamol is referred as well as amphetamine and salbutamol. As markers of exposure the metabolites of diazepam and of opiates used in respective therapeutic monitorization are mentioned.
