Summary: The project will focus on Professional Development necessary to make learner-centred higher education in India a reality and put an emphasis on internationalisation of curricula. It will also aim at improving collaboration of academic and non-academic university actors and encouraging them to join efforts in internationalising curricula - starting from curriculum and syllabus design, and going into different aspects of teaching and assessment.
Results: ****PORTUGÊS****** Os participantes do RISHII tornar-se-ão Campeões de IoC Avançado de Nível 2 - capazes de planear e de implementar IoC e também de incentivar outros a fazer o mesmo por meio de atividades de Desenvolvimento Profissional Contínuo em IoC. Aqueles que participarão dos Workshops de RISHII IoC tornar-se-ão Campeões de IoC de nível 1 - capazes de planear e de implementar IoC por conta própria. Equipes de internacionalização institucional (IITS) Além disso, o RISHII reúne docentes e não académicos em Equipas de Internacionalização Institucional (IITs) e dá atenção especial à formação de equipas e ao desenvolvimento da capacidade de trabalhar juntos para alcançar a Internacionalização do Currículo. Esses IITs recém-constituídos e treinados irão: a) atuar como catalisadores para melhorar a gestão e operação das IES b) tornar-se campeões da internacionalização nas instituições c) envolver todos os universitários no desenvolvimento de planos estratégicos de internacionalização de currículo contínuo d) treinar e fornecer desenvolvimento profissional para diferentes grupos de funcionários da universidade (desenvolvimento de recursos humanos) e) garantir a Internacionalização-PARA-TODOS em programas-piloto, contribuindo assim para a equidade e democratização dos programas de ensino superior indianos em instituições parceiras f) divulgar os resultados e produtos do projeto, abrindo-os para todas as instituições Indianas de ensino superior a partir do segundo semestre do projeto - primeiro a nível regional e depois a nível nacional g) complementar, unindo esforços para ajudar as instituições parceiras do projeto e outras instituições indianas de ensino superior a beneficiarem da experiência conjunta de TODOS os participantes do RISHII (e não apenas da experiência do IIT “local”). ****INGLÊS***** RISHII participants will become Level 2 Advanced IoC Champions – able to plan for and implement IoC, and also to encourage others to do the same through providing Continuous Professional Development activities on IoC. Those who will attend RISHII IoC Workshops will become Level 1 IoC Champions – able to plan for and implement IoC themselves (but not yet to provide Continuous Professional on IoC). Institutional Internationalisation Teams (IITS) Moreover, RISHII brings faculty and non-academic staff together in Institutional Internationalisation Teams (IITs) and pays special attention to team-building and to developing the capacity to work together towards achieving Curriculum Internationalisation. These newly constituted and trained IITs will: act as catalysts for improving management and operation of HEIs become champions of internationalisation at their institutions involve all university actors in developing strategic continuous curriculum internationalisation plans be trained and provide professional development to different groups of university staff (human resources development) ensure Internationalisation-FOR-ALL in pilot programmes, thus contributing to equity and democratisation of Indian higher education programmes in Partner Institutions disseminate project outcomes and outputs, opening them up to all Indian higher education institutions from semester 2 of the project – first at regional and then at national level complement each other, joining efforts to help both project partner institutions and other Indian higher education institutions benefit from the joint expertise of ALL RISHII participants (and not only from the expertise of the “local” IIT).
