Mathematician, Postgraduate in Health Operations Management and M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering. I worked for almost 20 years in the Brazilian Government, mainly in materials management, hospital logistics and public procurement. I am currently a PhD student in Industrial Engineering and Management and a researcher at
DIGI2 - Digital and Intelligent Industry Lab, at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. My areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence (namely Machine Learning methods), applied to the prediction of Remaining Useful Life (RUL) in industrial systems within the context of Industry 4.0. I am also interested in Reverse Logistics - Life Extension Strategies (LES) - within the context of Circular Economy and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
In the areas of logistics and SCM, besides the vast professional experience, I participated in the project "
KnowLOGIS - Expertise in Healthcare Logistics" (POCI-01-0247-FEDER-017702) and I am completing the MicroMasters Program in Supply Chain Management at MIT.
