Apresentação Pessoal
Carla Teixeira Lopes got her Ph.D. degree in Informatics Engineering from the University of Porto, Portugal, in 2013. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, and a senior researcher at INESC TEC.Her research interests lie at the intersection of information retrieval and human-computer interaction. She is interested in studying information search behavior and developing tools that help people search more successfully. Lately, she has been focused on improving health consumers' experience searching the Web and exploring linked data in the cultural heritage domain.
She has been involved in several international and national research projects and serves as an Associate Editor for the ACM Journal on Computing and Cultural Heritage.
She is the Director of the Master in Information Science and a member of several scientific committees.
