Personal Presentation
Ana Maria Mendonça is Full Professor with Habilitation at FEUP, Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto.
She has a degree in Electrical Engineering - option of Digital Systems, by FEUP in 1981, and a PhD in Electrical and Computers Engineering by FEUP in 1994.
She has been involved in research in the area of Biomedical Engineering, especially in the areas of medical and biomedical imaging, since 1986.
She was a member of the Follow-up Commission of the "Licenciatura" in Electrical and Computers Engineering (LEEC) and associate director of the Integrated Master in Bioengineering (MIB) of FEUP / ICBAS. She is currently Director of FEUP's Doctoral Programme in Biomedical Engineering (PRODEB), Director of the Master's in Biomedical Engineering and Co-Director of the Degree in Bioengineering and the Master's in Bioengineering.
He was a member of the Executive Committee and Deputy Director of DEEC.
She was Vice-Dean of FEUP until October 2022.
