As Pro-Rector in the Continuing Education area and under the supervision of Rector Prof. Novais Barbosa,  in the period of 1999-2001, created the Regulation, the Council and the Unit of Continuing Education approved by the Senate of the University of Porto (30th meeting 22Jun99).

Expert EQAVET (European Quality Assurance Vocational Education and Training), ANQEP, expert evaluator as publication of National Agency Erasmus+ (2021-27).

General Secretary of Association of European Civil Engineering Faculties (AECEF).

Vice President of International Safety and Health Construction Coordinators Organization (ISHCCO).

Member of Management Board of European Distance and E-learning Network Digital Learning Europe (EDEN DLE).
