I have BSc in Chemistry and MSc in Analytical Chemistry both from Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), Brazil. Additionally, I obtained an equivalence to the BSc (180 credits) and to the MSc (120 credits) both awarded by Universidade do Porto, Portugal, with a final score of 17 (0-20) and 18 (0-20), respectively. During my graduation studies, I had the opportunity to participate in two scientific initiation projects. During the first one (April 2015 to April 2016), I could learn analytical methods for different water parameters, being able to assess the water quality and its viability to reuse. The second project (September 2015 to July 2016) had the main goal of extraction, separation, and characterization of secondary metabolites from medicinal plants. This project was developed in partnership with Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (March 2016 to July 2016), where I performed an internship, acquiring knowledge in chromatography and spectroscopy techniques. Concerning to my master’s research, I was awarded with a scholarship financed by Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (March 2017 to February 2019) in which I developed studies related with environmental electrochemistry through the design and construction of an electrochemical cell applied to the treatment of electroplating’s wastewaters from a costume jewellery industry. During this period, I also was involved in others research studies developed by the research group of Laboratório de Processos Oxidativos Avançados (LabPOA) from Department of Analytical Chemistry and Physical Chemistry – UFC. My academic journey gave me the opportunity to be author and co-author of 20 scientific publications, including 1 ISI paper, 4 book chapters, 4 oral communications and 11 poster communications.
