Current Position:

Civil Engineer in the scope of “Technical assistance for surveying and assessing the structural behavior of four historical structures, located in the influence area of the circular metro line of Metro do Porto – section Casa da Música/São Bento”  

Education:

Integrated Master in Civil Engineering, at the Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (FEUP) (2008); Advanced Master in Monuments and Historical Constructions (SAHC) at Universities of Minho and Padova (2010); PhD in Civil Engineering at University of Minho (2015).

Main research interests/skills:

Structural inspection and analysis of historical constructions; development of structural retrofit solutions; project for structural retrofit; non-destructive testing of masonry and timber elements; experimental campaigns for the characterization of the structural behavior of historical structures.

Main activities:

Historical survey and structural inspection of historical structures; assistance on the design of monitoring systems and data analysis; numerical analysis of historical stone masonry structures.
