Current position: Postdoc Researcher (FEUP). Integrated member of the R&D unit CONSTRUCT- Institute of R&D in Structures and Construction.
Education: PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Porto (2021); MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Porto (2012).
Main research interests/skills: Artificial intelligence, damage identification, structural health monitoring, remote inspection, computer vision, digital railways, railway infrastructures, advanced models for analysis of the bridge-track-train dynamic interaction, structural testing and experimentation, model updating and validation.

Other relevant information: Internship in the University of California San Diego (UCSD) in the United States with Professor Michael D. Todd, specialist in Structural Health Monitoring Using Statistical Pattern Recognition, and in the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC), Lisbon. Awarded with 4 prizes related with the research developed in the field of railways.
