General regime - 2021/2022

Available courses

Undergraduate degree

Applicants

Note: Provisional information. Approval pending.

To apply under this regime, students must cumulatively fulfil the following requirements:

a) Hold a secondary education certificate or legal equivalent qualifications completed up to and including the academic year 2020-2021;

b) Provide proof of their ability to attend higher education;

c) Not being covered by the international student status regulated by Decree-Law No. 36/2014, of 10th March, amended and republished by Decree-law (Decree-Law No. 62/2018, of 6th August (legislation only available in Portuguese))


In order to apply for each institution/course pairing, the student must cumulatively fulfil the following requirements:

a) Having done the entrance examinations required for that institution/course pairing;

b) Having obtained at least the minimum grade in each of the required entrance examinations for that institution/course pairing as set out by the legal and statutorily competent body of the higher education institution in accordance with article 25 of Decree-law no. 296-A/98, of 25th September, as currently worded;

c) Having fulfilled the admission pre-requirements, if any, established for that institution/course pairing;

d) Having obtained at least the established minimum in their application grade for that institution/course pairing as set out by the legal and statutorily competent body of the higher education institution in accordance with article 25 of Decree-law no. 296-A/98, of 25th September, as currently worded.

Procedure to request credit transfer/recognition

Credit transfer/recognition request (optional) is subject to the non-refundable payment of the fees set-out in the Table of fees of the University of Porto.
