Final grade = ENEM grade * 200/1000
After the conversion of the ENEM grades, only applicants with individual grades equal to or higher than 120 (600 in ENEM) for Mathematics and its Technologies (MT), 120 (600 in ENEM) for Natural Sciences and their Technologies (CNT) and 95 (475 in ENEM) for each of the three remaining fields of knowledge of the ENEM will be admitted.
Applicants who are applying with Gao Kao or Lian Kao examinations (applicable only to the Master in Civil Engineering - MIEC):
The Gao Kao and Lian Kao grades will be converted to a scale from 0 to 200 (Portuguese grading scale) according to the following formula:
Final grade = Gao Kao or Lian Kao grade × 200/scale considered in the examination
After the conversion of the Gao Kao and Lian Kao grades, only applicants who cumulatively meet the following conditions will be admitted:
- individual grades for the components Mathematics and Physics or Mathematics and Comprehensive Sciences Examination equal to or higher than 120.
- global Gao Kao or Lian Kao grade equal to or higher than 130.
Applicants who are applying with other examinations:
Must have obtained on the required entrance examinations (or equivalent national examination) grades equal to or higher than the following limits:

Conversion to a scale from 0 to 200 (Portuguese grading scale) according to the following formula:
Application grade = Grade*200/1000
Only applicants with an application grade equal to or higher than 130 points will be admitted.
Applicants who are applying with Gao Kao or Lian Kao examinations (applicable only to the Master in Civil Engineering - MIEC):
The application grade, on a scale from 0 to 200, is calculated by applying the following formula, the result of which is rounded to the tenth, with one-tenth being a value of not less than 0.05:
Application grade = P1 × 0.45 + P2 × 0.40 + P3 × 0.15
where:
P1 - grade, on the entire scale from 0 to 200, of the Mathematics component
P2 - grade, on the entire scale from 0 to 200, of the Physics component or the Comprehensive Sciences Examination component
