Applicants who are applying with ENEM examinations:

The ENEM grades will be converted to a scale from 0 to 200 (Portuguese grading scale) according to the following formula:

Final grade = ENEM grade * 200/1000

After the conversion of the ENEM grades, only applicants with individual grades equal to or higher than 95 for each of the five fields of knowledge of the ENEM will be admitted.

Applicants who are applying with other examinations:

Must have obtained on the required entrance examinations (or equivalent national examination) grades equal to or higher than the legally established limits:

  1. Minimum grade on the entrance examinations: 95 points (on a scale from 0 to 200);
  2. Minimum application grade: 100 points (on a scale from 0 to 200).

Ranking Criteria

Applicants who are applying with ENEM examinations:

Fields of knowledge of the ENEM Weighting
Human Sciences and their Technologies (CHT) 5%
Natural Sciences and their Technologies (CNT) 40%
Languages, Codes and their Technologies (LCT) 5%
Mathematics and its Technologies (MT) 45%
Mathematics and its Technologies (MT) 5%

 Grade = (CHT*weighting + CNT*weighting + LCT*weighting + MT*weighting + R*weighting)/100

Conversion to a scale from 0 to 200 (Portuguese grading scale) according to the following formula:

Ranking grade = Grade*200/1000

Only applicants with a ranking grade equal to or higher than 120 points will be admitted.

Applicants who are applying with other examinations:

The application grade, on a scale from 0 to 200, is calculated by applying the following formula, the result of which is rounded to the tenth, with one-tenth being a value of not less than 0.05:

Grade: P1 x 0.5 + P2 x 0.5

where:

P1 and P2 = grades, on the entire scale from 0 to 200, of the final examinations corresponding to the required entrance examinations (50% each)
