Abstract (EN):
In open pit mining, production cycles can be clearly defined. As consequence of this definition and knowing that data collection of noise is a usual procedure, was established as the main goal of this study to confirm that production cycles can be detected by noise measurements and with this kind of data procedures the productivity can be analysed. Noise levels were collected following law and standard procedures. Sampling occurred al continuously throughout the working cycle on a significant number of cycles. Simultaneously data were collected allowing relating the noise with the operational tasks. Data analysis was performed considering all the obtained data. The detection of noise patterns in the different tasks resulted from data analysis in each one of the octave predefined frequency bands (63 Hz to 8 KHz). It was possible to relate noise patterns and production operations for load and transport carried out by Loaders and by the Dumpers.
