Objectives
The course project has as its primary goal the theoretical development of that which will constitute the project of research leading to the preparation of the student master dissertation. This course will improve in student the skills and competencies for the development of a scientific project with a strong experimental component on the area of Plant Biology.
Learning outcomes and competences
Within this course is intended that students acquire advanced training and knowledge in Biology of Plants, based on their literature research, searching the information they need to conduct a research in this area of knowledge. Working method

In this course student will prepare a literature review of the theme chosen and outline the objectives and a work plan, duly substantiated in pre-existing knowledge of the theme.Mandatory literature

Comments from the literature
The bibliography will be diferent according to the theme of the dissertation and will basically consist of scientific articles published in several journals of the specialty
Teaching methods and learning activities
In this course will be prepare, by the student, a monograph including the state of the art of the chosen topic and description of the research project to develop, with detailed description of the objectives, methodology, expected results and timeline, according to the template presented and written in english.
This course includes only hours of tutorials provided by the UC teachers and supervisor, that will assist the student in choosing the future topic of his masters dissertation, and monitor the process of preparing the literature review, defining the objectives of the work and planning of the experimental work. With this monitoring the student will develop the theoretical level what should come to constitute the draft research leading to the preparation of the dissertation.
