PUBLIC NOTICE  Concluded process

APPLICATION FOR RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PORTO
(2018– 2022 MANDATE)
 

1. In accordance with Article 7(3) of the Regulation for the Election of the Rector, the President of the General Council hereby publishes the applications for the position of Rector of the University of Porto that have been definitively accepted (according the order defined by lot):
   • Allen G. P. Ross
   • Sebastião José Cabral Feyo de Azevedo
   • António Manuel de Sousa Pereira
   • Xose Rosales Sequeiros
   • Peter James Godman
2. The public hearing of candidates will be held on 24 April, according the order defined by lot in number one.
3. The first hearing will be at 9.00 a.m., followed by the remaining at 11.00 a.m., 2.00 p.m., 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. in the Salão Nobre of the Rectorate of University of Porto.
4. Each candidate will be heard individually, without the presence of the other applicants and will have thirty minutes to present their programme, followed by a sixty-minute period of questions by the members of the General Board.
5. Afterwards, the Members of the General Board will meet on 27 April at 10.00 a.m. in the Sala do Conselho, in the Rectorate, to elect the Rector.
