Biography of José Alves Bonifácio (1860-1943)

He graduated in Public Works Engineering at the Polytechnic Academy of Porto, where he taught Descriptive Geometry.
He was awarded the degree of Doctor in Mathematics by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, where he was a teacher and director.
He was also the Interim Chairman of the Administrative Commission of the Porto City Council and Chairman of the Administrative Commission nominated by the Northern Monarchic Board.
