Biography of António de Mendonça Monteiro (1903-1966)

He graduated from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto and taught in the Chemistry Group of this Faculty and at the Institute of Climatology and Hydrology.
He was the secretary and delegate of full professors with the University Senate of Porto, and was a member of the commission in charge of reforming the Faculties of Sciences. The Faculty of Sciences of the U.Porto set up an annual award in his name.

He was the Rector of the University of Luanda.
