Resumo (PT): Resumo: A heterogeneidade das práticas discursivas a que damos o nome de poesia reflecte-se em diferentes conceitos de resistência, tão variáveis quanto as poéticas que lhes estão associadas. “Não há opressão maior e mais infame que a da língua”, escreveu Alberto Pimenta, e a poesia desenvolve mecanismos de resistência que assentam na consciencialização deste facto. Mas, por outro lado, talvez se tenha vindo a criar alguma resistência aos usos que a poesia de tradição moderna reivindicou para “as palavras da tribo”. Reportando-se ao mundo contemporâneo, Pimenta constatava recentemente: “nesses trilhos da obediência, ouve-se às vezes dizer que em certo lugar do caminho faltam 4 médicos, ou 4 juízes, ou 4 pedreiros, ou 4 motoristas, ou 4 fiscais, mas jamais se ouvirá dizer que faltam 4 poetas. Ainda bem”. Porquê “ainda bem”? Por que precisa a poesia deste estar à margem? E se não faz falta (?), por que razão continua? As “operações” poéticas de Alberto Pimenta e os diálogos que estas mantêm (ou recusam) com outras poéticas portuguesas contemporâneas serão o ponto de partida para algumas possíveis respostas. Abstract (EN): The heterogeneity of the discursive practices we call poetry is shown in different concepts of resistance, which, in turn, are as variable as the poetics associated with them. “There’s no larger or more infamous oppression than that of language," wrote Alberto Pimenta, and poetry develops mechanisms of resistance that rely on the awareness of this fact. On the other hand, perhaps there has also been some sort of resistance to the uses that modern poetry has claimed for “the words of the tribe”. Discussing the contemporary world, Pimenta recently noted: “in these paths of obedience, we sometimes hear that , 2, 12/2013: 37-53 – ISSN 2182-8954 Rosa Maria Martelo somewhere along the way 4 doctors are missing, or 4 judges, or 4 masons, or 4 drivers, or 4 tax inspectors, but never will we hear that 4 poets are missing. Just as well.” Why “just as well”? Why does poetry feel the need to be on the margins? And if it is not missed (?), why does poetry continue to exist? Alberto Pimenta’s poetic “operations” and the dialogues they maintain (or refuse) with other Portuguese contemporary poetics will be the starting point for some possible answers.
