Liliana Norte graduated in Modern Languages and Literature by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto with a specialization in translation studies for English-German languages (2004). She started her work at the International Office in 2003 as a trainee before graduating. Since then she has been working as International Officer at the University of Porto and has been managing European Projects like Socrates/ERASMUS, Lifelong Learning Programme/Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, the national Programme Almeida Garrett and more recently the new Erasmus+ Programme.
Liliana has gained an extended experience working with a variety of activities related with International Cooperation, such as the organization of institutional visits and international events and meetings. In 2005, she joined the Outgoing Mobility Unit dealing particularly with the international mobility of students and later managing teaching and administrative staff mobilities. Her main activities include: promoting Partner Institutions’ education offer among U.Porto students; manage applications and scholarships and organize different events and information sessions as part of the outgoing students’ orientation and monitoring activities, promoting and supporting students and staff in their academic mobility experiences.
In 2017, Liliana joined the Erasmus+ Projects Unit and has been responsible for the support of project proposals at application stage and in the management and implementation of international projects in the field of education and training after their approval.
