Graduated in applied mathematics at FCUP, I run the activities at UPdigital Services Management facilities.

Chief Observer at the University of Porto’s Astronomical Observatory was my first professional appointment. After more than forty years of service, observing and reasoning on celestial bodies but also on people and their behaviors, is still my first activity and the most rewarding.

Mathematics, astronomy and computing are occupations and preoccupations that void the need for other hobbies.
