The Communication and Image Office performs its duties in the areas of communication and information, as well as promoting the image of ICBAS, and is responsible for:
- Coordinate, in accordance with senior management guidelines, communication and image issues under the responsibility of ICBAS;
- Support management in defining communication and image policies and strategies;
- Ensure the creation of informational and promotional materials, as well as organize initiatives and projects that promote and publicize the institution;
- Ensure the management of information on social media, ICBAS's participation in the publication of U.Porto media, as well as the creation and/or maintenance of new intra-institutional media and image;
- Receive, filter, and disseminate information from other institutions, provided that it is relevant to ICBAS's internal audiences;
- Promote contact with the media and monitor, collect, and process news items of interest to ICBAS;
- Ensure the regular publication and dissemination, by all teaching, non-teaching, and research staff, of an internal digital newsletter, with a view to publicizing the most relevant activities carried out at ICBAS, as well as information and news of interest to the School;
- Coordinate and/or collaborate, in accordance with management guidelines, on protocol issues under the responsibility of ICBAS;
- Coordinate the organization of formal sessions, conferences, exhibitions, and other scientific and cultural events promoted by ICBAS management;
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
