Objectives

The subject of Ornamental Fish Production aims to promote knowledge in the area of aquatic ornamental species, so that students are able to understand the methodologies used in the cultivation of the species whose trade is more significant.
Thus, combining theoretical and applied information of several areas, students will be able to independently evaluate and conceptualise ornamental species production systems.

Learning outcomes and competences

It is expected that the successful attendance of this course will provide students with a comprehensive view of the various components associated with domestic and international trade of aquatic species with ornamental value.
