Objectives

This UC is designed to prepare a research project and make its presentation. It is expected that students will be able to search the bibliography on a subject, study it and organize it in the form of an integrated update and on this they can ask questions and identify problems. They will also have to design a strategy to address these issues or problems and find solutions. All these data will be written in a synthesis document that will be supported by a presentation and an evaluation by the UC teachers.

Learning outcomes and competences

This UC aims to develop competences related to a critical analysis of the state of the art in a topic of oncology / oncobiology which, in turn, will lead to open questions within this scientific area. From there the student should be able to devise a research plan with innovative approaches capable of responding to some of the previously identified issues.
Thus, it is intended that the student will be able to write a scientific project / research plan, describing the objectives to be achieved, the methodologies to be used, the tasks to be performed and their timing. Predict the results to be achieved and how they can contribute to the evolution of knowledge.
