Objectives

Provide students with notions of economy, fiscality and company management.

Learning outcomes and competences

Provide students with concepts of economic, accountancy, taxes and of management, in order to enable them to manage companies in the sectors of aquaculture and fisheries, either as investors, entrepreneurs, managers or advisers to the Administration, in order to obtain the maximum profitability couple to the best use of the available resourceS.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Theoretical and practical lessons, whenever appropriate making use of educational videos and presenting computer simulations of facts that may often occur in companies. Evaluation is done via one final exam, which consists of questions about theoretical knowledge and includes many diverse practical exercises.
