Toxemia, hyperthermia, hypothermia, septicemia / viremia, localized infections, pain, stress, sudden death, disturbances of acid base balance and body fluids, disturbances in appetite and nutritional status, weight loss, loss of fitness in athletic horses, allergy to anaphylaxis. Diseases of the newborn. Diseases of the digestive tract in horses. Diseases of the liver and pancreas. Diseases of the cardiovascular system. Diseases of blood and haematopoietic organs. Diseases of the respiratory tract. Endoscopy in horses. Diseases of the urinary tract. Nervous system disorders. Diseases of the skeletal muscle. Diagnosis of lameness in horses. Diseases of uncertain aetiology. . Dermatology in horses. Clinical haematology. Regenerative medicine.

Also an oral presentation followed by a scientific discussion concerning a subject of Regenerative Medicine in equine practice (10% of the final classification).

Eligibility for exams

Mandatory attendance in the oral presentations / discussion of the scientific papers related with the subject Equine Regenerative Medicine, that will take place in the last 2 weeks of the semester.

Calculation formula of final grade

Theory exam - 10 / 20 (written exam) Practical examination (clinical cases) - 8/20(written exam) Both exams are eliminatory.  
The oral presentation is 2 /20. It is not mandatory nor eliminatory. The students will be classified for 18 if they do not present it.
