Calculation formula of final grade

The final theoretical examination will be acomplished through the Moodle platform UP. Small animal: 50% final value for the final theoretical examination. Large animal: 50% final value for the final theoretical examination.
Students must obtain at least 50% of the total value of the theorectical exam to take the examination of the pratical part of small and large animals.
Students shoud get at least 50% of the total value of the oral examination to proceed to the theoretical examination.
The oral exam consists of a practical examination to be held during the last weeks of classes in order to assess knowledge acquired during the practical classes of this course.
Mathematical formula for the calculation of final average: = Note oral examination * 0,3 + Note theorical exam * 0,7

Failing to aprove in the theoretical test (regular season) the classification of the practical exam may be retained for the appeal season

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

Examination can be accomplished through written test or oral test

Classification improvement

Exams for classification improvement will be performed in accordance with the Article nº.17 of the "Regulamento Geral para Avaliação dos Discentes da U.Porto". As foreseen in paragraph 1.b) of this article, the improvement of the classification in the practical exam will only be granted to students who are enrolled in the improvement of classification (having to perform both exams), being considered the final classification of both examinations for the final classification.

Observations

Divided in 7 weeks of theoretical and practical classes in small animals and 7 weeks theoretical and practical classes in large animals.
