Objectives

The internship aims to provide learning and training specifically geared towards the professional activity and facilitates the employability of future licensed in the labor market. As an additional goal, the internship aimed at strengthening the relationship between the University and the professionals and institutions that receive students.

Learning outcomes and competences

The internship areas that are set are in line with what is stated in the document cited "Day one Skills" and these correspond to areas of professional output currently offered in the labor market. The student chooses an area according to their motivations, and this often corresponds to the area in which the student in future plans to develop his professional activity, usually being the 1st contact with extra university entities employment providers.

Students may start only after completing the stage with success all previous units of the Master, from 1st to 5th year. Students start the stage after completing previous units of the Master. It corresponding to the 11 semester of the course credits and corresponding to 30 ECTS. Begin after approval of the work plan by the Internships Commission (IC) and ratification by the Director of the MIMV. The working hours will be defined by the local where the internship will be performed, fulfilling a total of 480 contact hours over 16 weeks. At the end the student must submit a "Final Report of Internship / Thesis ". The delivery of the final internship report will occur no later than 20 weeks. A public presentation and the evaluation of the report will have to be completed in 24 weeks. The presentation and public discussion will be performed in the presence of a jury appointed by the CC of MIMV and approved by the Rector. Will be written a report, expressing the evaluation of the student and addressing his practical performance, preparation of the written work, presentation and discussion.

Teaching methods and learning activities

The internship can commence only after approval of the plan by the Commission Internship and ratification by the Director of the MIMV. The working hours will be defined by where the stage is done, fulfilling a 480 contact hours over 16 weeks, corresponding to an average of 30 hours per week. At the end of the practical part of the internship, the student must submit a "Final Report of Internship / Thesis ". This work will be required to follow the standards outlined in the regulation internship. The specific criteria report content will be defined by each area coordinator and approved by the Commission internship. The delivery of the final report stage will occur no later than 20 weeks from the date of commencement was made in the internship plan. Finally follows a public presentation and evaluation of the report will be required to complete out of 24 weeks. The presentation should follow the rules laid down in Regulation MIMV. The presentation and public discussion of the report stage will be held in the presence of a jury appointed by the Scientific Committee of the MIMV and approved by the Rector. This is a report drawn up expressing reviewed with the student stating its practice of providing on-site training, the preparation of written work, their presentation and their discussion.
