Objectives

The "Semiologia Médica de Animais de Companhia" subject is to
 develop in the students, skills to realize clinical history and animal exploration methodologies  to recognize the signs of disease in companion animals.

Animal Welfare  is a high priority within that teachear of this Curriculum Unit. The highest standard of animal care and welfare. Priority objective of teaching and learning in this Curricular Unit is that all students should be able to action and education to protect and improve animal welfare.

Acquisition of the ability to obtain and recognize the signs of disease in small animals.
The highest standard of animal care and welfare.

Eligibility for exams

Two Independent Parts (Módulo I e Módulo II)
Every student must to deliver ten questions about the subjects of the day practical class.
To get frequency success, the student must to deliver, at minimum, 50 questions to each part.

Calculation formula of final grade

Two Independent Parts (Módulo I e Módulo II)
Each Part (100%): theoretical examination( 30%) and evaluation theoretical-practice (70%).

Students must approve, mandatory, four evaluations.
Success Evaluation must be (9,5/20), minimum

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

According to the Government law.
